Gerald R. Ford Museum
At the Gerald R. Ford Museum, you not only view history - you participate in history. There are permanent exhibits, reviewing the highlights of the lives of President and Mrs. Ford. Temporary exhibits feature the Presidential libraries system, the Smithsonian Institution, the National Archives, and others. The Museum provokes emotions that stimulate learning, reflection, and a sense of democratic citizenship.
The Festival of the Arts
The Festival of the Arts is a community wide-celebration that is a feast for all the senses! You'll find music (jazz, rock, techno, folk, classical, and more), dance, poetry, storytelling, visual art, improv, arts and crafts for sale, and so much more! There are over 20,000 volunteers, over half a million people in attendance, and all performances and exhibits are free of charge.
Sports in Grand Rapids includes football, hockey, basketball, soccer, baseball, and much more.
